Martin/Martin provided structural engineering for Pueblo School District 60’s replacement Centennial and East High School facilities as part of the district’s 2019 BuildD60 Bond. Each new school was approximately 185,000 sq. ft. with a $75M construction budget and provided the students, teachers, and communities with a much needed modern learning facility, athletic, and performing arts spaces. Designed during 2020 and early 2021, the design, construction and owner team navigated the challenges of transitioning to remote work and substantial economic inflation during the Covid pandemic to deliver the community the district’s largest projects of the 2019 bond.
