Martin/Martin provided civil site engineering for this redevelopment of the former Cinderella City Shopping Center site. The project is a 55-acre, TOD and mixed-use, commercial, retail, multi-family, and RTD light rail and bus transit facility. We also provided structural engineering services for the parking garage and pedestrian bridge for the RTD station.
CityCenter Englewood is the first project in Colorado - and among a handful nationally - to replace a suburban shopping mall with a living, breathing, mixed-use downtown. The project's urban design coordinates the complex needs of a city government, regional transportation system, retailers, homebuilders, and nonprofit cultural organizations, while transforming a single-use development served only by automobiles into a complex setting accessible by train, bus, car, bike, or foot.
