Martin/Martin provided civil engineering services for the Cobblestone Park project which features a variety of recreational amenities, including a Great Lawn, shade structure, play structures, basketball half court, and baseball fields, alongside pickleball courts. Access to the park is facilitated by an entrance road leading to a parking lot with 81 spaces. The project also includes a concessions building, an 11 ft sanitary main for a central restroom, and a 600 ft water main with a fire hydrant to service the restroom and a future concession building. Uniquely, Cobblestone Park is part of a larger subdivision development but couldn't be developed within the Cherry Creek floodplain limits. The project required phased construction, coordinated with the fire department for emergency access and future building access. Martin/Martin provided structural engineering for several of the park's built structures.
