Martin/Martin has played a pivotal role in the development and expansion of Grand Junction Community Hospital, showcasing our expertise in structural and civil engineering across multiple projects. Our work began with the original building completed in 2016, a state-of-the-art facility that included a full emergency department, labor and delivery facilities, and 44 private patient rooms, designed for future expansion. The same year, we contributed to the construction of an 88,000 square foot medical office building, equipped with a surgery center, imaging suite, and various specialty clinics. The most recent project, completed in January 2024, included a significant four-story addition to the hospital. This expansion included a linear accelerator vault and a connection to the existing bed tower, with a construction cost of $53M. Each project reflects Martin/Martin’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure.
