The original Treat Hall was constructed in 1890 with a significant addition in 1920 and is registered as a landmark by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The building served as a dormitory, classrooms, and student center and was shuttered in 1982. This project consisted of updating all of the building systems, adding floor areas, adding code required egress, renovating- and in some cases restoring- the finishes and rooms. Structural work included wind and seismic reviews, new floor structures, strengthening of building elements, and masonry restoration.
