Wheat Ridge, Colorado

This multi-phase project consisted of a 305,000 SF addition and 145,900 SF of interior renovations. The facility remained in operation throughout demolition and new construction accomplished by careful phasing of work and operations. Demolition included both temporary and permanent shoring and underpinning of the existing structures for a 23' deep basement directly adjacent to the existing structure.
Civil site work included relocation of the four-lane roadway and landscaped median. The parking lots were reconfigured for efficiency and new lots were added. Drainage of the east campus was upgraded with new storm sewers and upsizing of the detention pond.
Martin/Martin has an ongoing relationship with Lutheran, providing services for miscellaneous improvements and tenant finish projects on the hospital.
