This civil and structural medical office building project consists of a three-story office building and a three-story parking garage structure. The buildings are separated by an expansion joint. The parking garage framing system consists of precast double tees and inverted t-beams supported by precast columns supported by a shallow foundation system. The medical office building framing system consists of slab over metal deck supported by composite steel framing supported by steel columns and precast concrete bearing walls systems. Civil included water main relocation, detention pond design, and coordination of shoring design. There was significant coordination with the perimeter drain and underslab drain to accommodate unique soil conditions and water treatment of the groundwater.
