The team with the Denver Art Museum talks about partnering with Saunders to complete the renovation of the 229,000-square-foot North Martin Building and construction of the new, 51,000-square-foot Sie Welcome Center. The North Martin Building renovation realizes elements of renowned Italian architect Gio Ponti’s original design concept – expanding gallery spaces to better engage audiences with the museum’s growing collection and increasing the DAM’s capacity to serve school and youth groups through its renowned educational program, as well as improve campus connectivity and building systems.
